Private Yoga & Group Classes - Retreats - Mindfulness Coaching - Reiki
Meggie has been engaged in dance and movement from a young age. She was trained in gymnastics, ballet, jazz, and modern dance, before joining her varsity cheerleading squad. In 2010, amidst transitions in her personal and professional life, Meggie came to know the physical practice of yoga. After graduating from the University of Idaho in 2011, she decided to make yoga a more influential and permanent part of her life, and completed her first 200-hour yoga teacher training program in 2014, under the direction of Tiffany Wood, Certified Anusara® Yoga Teacher, E-RYT 500. Meggie began teaching in the Sandpoint, ID and Moscow, ID communities shortly thereafter. Meggie's yoga background has since diversified to include pre-natal training, Neelakantha meditation initiation with Dr. Paul Muller Ortega and Karen Faunce, and is complemented by her Reiki 1 and 2 trainings, led by Cami Cote, Holy Fire Reiki Master.
Through the practice of yoga, she firmly believes that you can begin to heal yourself from the inside out. Meggie’s classes are flowing, playful, and fun, and she meets her students exactly where they are. Finding the balance between effort and ease in one’s practice can lead to great opening and expansion, so that students can go deeper and explore parts of themselves and their practice they did not know they had. The path to greater awareness and bliss from this heart-focused approach sets Meggie apart, and is influenced by her fellow colleagues and mentors in the Anusara School of Hatha Yoga tradition.
When she is not teaching, Meggie enjoys spending time with her partner, Dave, and their daughter, Penelope. She also loves to spend time outdoors, helping her parents with their ranch. In the winter, you can find her at Schweitzer Mountain Resort, in Sandpoint, and summers are spent teaching yoga in various locations on the Palouse.

A brilliant and talented instructor with much to offer!
The best yoga instructor I have ever had! I was newer to yoga when I took my first class from Meggie. She began class with a group OM, which i loved. At the end of class, which was a smooth pace, she sang a mantra of some kind. It sent waves off chills through my body, and relaxed me so much. She just has those little touches we all want in a yoga instructor. Her classes were the reason I kept going to yoga!
The most amazing yoga experience, ever!! You have never heard a voice like this, sing the final prayer, I can assure you. It’s absolutely incredible. The first time I experienced it, I thought it was a further recording off of the background music we had been listening to during the class. The woman is not only a skilled and personable instructor, but additionally a talented vocalist. Her class would be too packed to attend or too expensive to secure a spot in a larger city. Moscow is lucky to have her.
